Its only an idea although it would be nice to have those sound effects. (also maybe a music player in the middle part of the ring)

Really? That's a heavy bummer, because that would make the whole experience that much more attractive.
Another thing that would make it attractive, and more user friendly, is to:
- Add a description box in the popup window for the selected icon like you see in the task manager.
- Make the slider speed from one icon to the next adjustable.
- Of course, the sound input that had been mentioned before, esp. for the scroll & open commands.
- Make a possible user selected shortcut input for an alternative to the mouse scroll (I'm using a laptop, so this would be super nice).
Implement these, and you have yourself a finished product.
For the suggestions 2 and 4, they both already exist.
SliderDock can be controlled with the keyboard and each shortcuts can be customized in the dock's settings.
The speed can be changed in the control tab but it only affect the rotation when using the keyboard.
For your first suggestion, I don't really understand what you are referring to.
I think what he means is a spot you can add a little bit of info of the context. Most people would simply remember what's in where, but if you need a little reminder (especially if you're like me and changed the icons to be more appealing) you want a quick reminder of what's in the folder.
That's just what I was getting.
If you could manage to get the scroll and open sounds to work that would be phenomenal because I'm already loving the dock as it is, and adding that would be just awesome.
I'm customizing my desktop, it is almost like ALTIMIT-MINE OS.
The only thing missing is the sound.
You say that it crashes, but could it be some kind of format issue? you know, mp3, wav, RAW, etc.? It would be excellent if it had sound effects, kind of, the ultimate Sliderdock.
It is almost perfect, congratulations!
