I love the functionality of this app but it runs inconsistently on my computer. Sometimes it will load at start and sometimes it won't. Most of the time when it loads it takes a good twenty minutes to show up on my desktop. It will also disappear when I run certain programs like burning a DVD. for instance. Any help would be appreciated! Win7 64 bit.

I know there is a bug where the icon doesn't appear in the tray bar when starting windows.
This occurs rarely but everything else works correctly.
When SliderDock doesn't appear at the start, does the shortcut and everything else stop responding and do you see "SliderDock.exe" in the task manager?
For the loading, it shouldn't take that much time, but you can use the option "Priority = BelowAverage" to help speed it up a bit.
As when launching your dvd burner, do you mean SliderDock hide itself and you can call it back with the shortcut or do you mean it just shut down on its own?
sliderdock.exe is still in task manager.
Icon is in tray bar.
Where do I put the "Priority" command in?
Also - the center disk does not show in the middle of the icon circle.
For the priority option, right click on the IconSeeker > dock settings > General.
There shouldn't be anything at the center of the ring, or do you mean inside the IconSeeker.
If possible can you post a screenshot of this problem?
I see, all the theme images are missing.
If you right click on the IconSeeker > "dock settings" > "Theme" tab, you should be able to set the theme again.
My guess for this problem though would be that the images folder is missing from the SliderDock installed folder.
Can you check if it's there, if not try to reinstall SliderDock or download the portable version.
Ok. I've been able to get the program to load every time I start windows by having manually put the .exe file in my startup folder. However, I still do not have the icon seeker visible and have no way to set the parameters. Any idea why this isn't being shown or what I can do to have it display? Thanks!
Have you checked for the images folder in SliderDock install folder?
If you right click on the icon where the IconSeeker should be, the IconSeeker's menu still appears.
There you should be able to setup everything.
SliderDock is great, but at different times when I click on it, a menu will pop up telling me there is a problem and it must be closed. It does and then I have to go back into the "All Programs" and restart it. It is an aggravation which isn't too bad, but still an aggravation. So, I came to your website to see if there was an upgrade.
When it crash, SliderDock should create a errorlog.txt file in the SliderDock installation folder.
If you could post the last error and the SliderDock version you are using, this might help determine what is causing this error.
My slider dock will crash randomly and doesn't create a errorlog.txt file at all…. Any ideas?
which version are you using?
In the latest version, the errorlog.txt is now found in the SliderDock\Data folder.
Hellooooo, I just downloaded this. Followed all of your directions, but only one ring is on the screen and nothing else. There's no "sliding" at all. Just a ring… Sittin' there. The UP and DOWN arrows change it, but there's no big spinning circle like in your pictures… I am using Windows 7 64 bit. What should I do?
The entire circle shown on the main page is one ring made of multiple icons.
So when you add an icon, do not create a new ring just drag your icons into the IconSeeker.
You can also drag all your icons at once, no need to drag them one by one.
