That's normal, since v1.15 included the new multi-ring feature, it's not compatible with the old save format.
I generally try to keep compatibility with old format but this time this change was needed.
Another problem is that when i create a new ring, the old ring gets overlapped and vanish. and if i move the new ring to a different position and delete it, the old ring would be at that new position. I though this was a one time save thing. =O
the old ring should still be there, just not visible.
When you click the middle mouse button on the IconSeeker, can't you select the old ring?
Also what do you mean moving the ring, I haven't added an option to reorganize the ring order.
oh! i din know u can toggle rings. ahhahahah! Moving the ring as in own setting for each ring. for example. ring A is at position X, i create a new ring and move it to position Y. And when i delete the new ring, the old ring appears at position Y instead of X
Ok, you basically thought that all rings are visible at the same time.
For SliderDock it's not possible because of the focus given to the IconSeeker.
In the future I'll improve the rings feature, like adding some transition animation when switching rings or the ability to reorganize the rings order for example.
Um… sorry for bump in out from nowhere, but because this is the first time i using the sliderdock, and i am not following the update from the beginning[i download only the R16], i try to make an altimit-ish Theme using SliderDock, but when i have installed correctly, i only see one ring appear,
how can i add more icon so they make a circle like the screenshot usually does? can someone give the tutorial about this?
Sorry before, i am not to good at PC
Welcome to SliderDock.
The first time you run SliderDock you will only see a blue circle that I call "IconSeeker"
Drag and drop any files or shortcuts from your computer to the "IconSeeker" and SliderDock will make a shortcut from it.
For more information, there is a tutorial section that you can find here :
Hello…um well, when I watched Youtube to look for anything that would beautify my boring desktop, I stumbled into watching this "SliderDock" video and I downloaded your program-because, well, I happen to love Hack G.U. too and stuff like that LOL so I really thank you for making this program for all of us. Anyways, I happened to read a comment in that "certain" SliderDock video that there is a sound option for it found in General Tab and yadda yadda but that's the problem-there wasn't any sound option in the Gen. Tab at all. I read the other bug posts about the sound issues in the previous versions and since I downloaded the latest one, I was assuming that this new version had the sound option.
So does this mean that the new version doesn't have any of that? Please reply…
Welcome to the SliderDock forum.
For some user, the sound option cause the application to crash even when this option was disable so I decided to remove this feature completely because I couldn't find a way to stabilize it.
